Description
Today's SNK Gal is Chae Lim from KOF: Maximium Impact. Like how I brought Hotaru in so that B. Jennet wasn't the only Garou character display in my project, Chae Lim is here so that Mignon isn't the only Maximium Impact exclusive character here. Though I can't say I'm a big fan of Chae Lim.
First off I never got to play KOF: MI2/KOF 2006, I never could find a copy of it for whatever reason. So I'm not really familiar with the new girls in that game, so I didn't want to use any of them, and there were only three exclusive females in Maximium Impact. They were Mignon, Chae Lim, and Lien Neville. Well, I already did Mognon, and I was pretty indifferent to Chae Lim and Lien Neville. However I actually did play Chae Lim, and I got a few requests for her, so I figured what the hell and did her.
She's not a bad character, really. She just looks kinda' plain to me, and is essentially just a female version of Kim Kaphwan from the 2D KOF and Fatal Fury games, and personall speaking if you are going to make a character who plays just like Kim... then why not put Kim in there instead of creating another character? Yeah, I know, they wanted another woman, but personally I'd rather of had Kim Kaphwan, he has more flare... as well as filling in the typical Bruce Lee clone role that's obligatory for any fighting game.
They rectified this problem in MI2/2006 from my understanding, but doesn't that make Chae more pointless? I don't know. She could've been May Lee, that would've been awesome.
Like I said she's not a bad character, she just seems kinda' uninspired to me, but she's got fans, so what do I know. I hope her fans like my picture at least.
